Introduction

Hi, my name is Marc Fox. I want to introduce you to H.I.T. This program is a revolutionary way for you and your daughter to look at crime prevention, awareness and self protection. In the first of this three part series, we focus on females between the ages of 16-24. We give you and your daughter vital information to help her avoid an attack. Personally, I hope this video empowers your daughter to take responsibility for her own safety. Keep in mind, we aren’t perfect and sometimes we find ourselves in bad situations (that aren’t our fault). I want your daughter to be prepared if this happens. The techniques and training are meant to be easy, however, as I mention in the video, repetition is the mother of learning. You need to practice these techniques with your daughter. The bottom line: if an attack occurs, she needs to stop the attack and evade at the first opportunity. We want these actions to be almost involuntary (you can help). Also, you never know, maybe the training will provide you and your daughter with some good bonding time. I also hope this opens up some doors for you and your daughter to talk about drinking, drugs, date rape, etc. Too idealistic? Maybe. But if I can help just (1) person stop and evade an attack from a violent predator - and survive, I’ve done my job.

I make a promise to update this blog as often as necessary. I am a crime prevention specialist at a major University in San Diego (40k + students). I see a lot. I will pass along any information on trends we begin to pick up on campuses across the country (e.g. new date rape drugs, serial rapists, robberies, abductions, crime statistics, etc.). I want to make sure you and your daughter are informed.

Sign up for my blog and get the latest updates as they happen. You have a good chance of seeing some ‘Hit Tips’ and training footage, in the near future, for educational and personal use.

Send me an email. I will address any issues that are out there. Also, continue to send me success stories to pass along to other folks down the road.

Ultimately, I hope this program protects your daughter for the rest of her life.

Stay tuned as I will update this blog with the latest safety information.

    Hello Mark,

I have four daughters between the ages of 16 and 26. I want to thank you for creating such a useful protective tool. Over time, I hope to watch the videos with each of them. I’ll get back to you after I’ve completed that project to let you know how it went and what they thought. Thanks, again.
