Two unfortunate stories to talk about in this blog post: there was a 16-year old girl, recently (6/10/09), from the San Pedro, CA area who was abducted at gun point and raped. There was also a 15-year old girl abducted and raped in the North Park, San Diego, CA area. Both stories are similar in nature. According to local news sources in San Diego, a 16 year old girl was abducted and sexually assaulted today (March 2, 2009) in El Cajon, CA. Apparently, the young girl was walking to school when the perp got out of a car, approached her, talked to her, and then forced her into the car. He drove her to an isolated area where the assault occurred. I wanted to take some time and discuss some tactics for younger girls:

A. If possible, walk in groups… use the buddy system. Be on guard for your friends.
