"I sincerely hope this program helps you and your family. I've seen a lot over the years as a police officer and Crime Prevention Specialist. One of the most common themes was that the crime could have been prevented in the first place. I started H.I.T. to help you and your loved ones develop the skills to avoid an attack, and in the worst case scenario, stop the attack immediately and 'get the heck out of Dodge'!"
H.I.T. stands for Heroes In Training. First and foremost, everyone can be a hero: to themselves, to their family members, and to their friends. In this DVD, Marc Fox, Crime Prevention Specialist, retired police officer and 6th degree black belt, focuses on prevention strategies for women of all ages. Marc arms you with information on how to avoid attack situations in the first place. Marc also teaches self-defense techniques and demonstrates how family members and friends can be good training partners.
The H.I.T. program also addresses matters such as acquaintance rape, the buddy system, and the role that alcohol can play in a sexual assault.

Empower yourself, and SURVIVE!
I was attacked coming out of the mall. Luckily I was in a public place. He tried to get me to go into my car - I screamed and bit him in the face. That was enough. He left. What you say about fighting back is absolutely true. Had I not fought back, I don't want to think about what would have happened. I'm alive. That was a horrifying experience. I hope others pay attention to your message. Please don't print my name.

To be honest, I learned just as much as my daughter. You really drive home some key points about taking responsibility for your own safety. By the way, I no longer talk on my cell phone while I'm on the way to the car. I'm sure you get this a lot, but thanks.

Marc makes the instruction and training easy to learn. I feel confident that if my wife or my daughter were ever in a 'worst case scenario' they'll know what to do. On a side note: I was also able to talk to my daughter about a few topics, that before, were uncomfortable for me to bring up. Kudos, Marc.
